Chief Yeoman, F, N. O. T. S. Born in Halifax County Sept. 6, 1898; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Rowe. Entered the service at Norfolk, Va., from Weldon, N.C., March 15, 1918. Promoted to rank of Chief Yeoman July 30, 1919. Served in Norfolk with the N. O. T. S. during entire period of service. Hers was a most pleasant work. Mustered out at Norfolk, Va., Aug. 6, 1919.
