Sergt. Major. Enlisted at Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 14th, 1914. Was sent to Columbus Barracks, Ohio. Was there until Jan. 15, 1915. Transferred to Fishers Island, Ft. Wright; there until June 28, 1916, with 2nd Company, Coast Artillery. Transferred to San Francisco, Cal.; there eight days. Sent to Honolulu, C. A. Corps; there until Sept. 10, 1918. Transferred to Artillery School, Ft. Monroe, Va.; there until Feb. 19, 1919. Furlough to Reg. Army Reserve, Feb. 19, 1919. Discharged for Reserve Feb. 19, 1919, Ft. Monroe, Va.
