Weston, Eliphas
The following data is extracted from Descendants of Edmund Weston.
ELIPHAS (Eliphas, John, Edmund), born 1745; married Oct. 27, 1774, Deborah Nash, and resided in Weymouth, where he held many important public positions. He sailed in his own ship from Boston to Baltimore in 1785, and his vessel was never after heard from. His children were: - PRISCILLA, b. 1775; d. June 21, 1852.
- PHEBA, b. 1776; d. 1777.
- PHEBA NASH, b. 1779 ; d. Feb. 10, 1861.
- WARREN, b. Dec. 13, 1780; m. Nancy Bates, Nov. 17, 1805; father of the late Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman, a widely known author.
- HARVEY, b. 1782; d. 1794 of yellow fever in West Indies.
- MARY, b. 1786; d. Nov. 2,1860; m.
