3-4-6-7-1 Mary Woodworth b at Columbia, Conn. Jan. 1802, m (1) Albert G. Collins son of Ambrose and Anna Dewey Collins. She d Feb. 23, 1888. Albert d June 20, 1828, age 26 years. He was an educated man and merchant in Columbia, Conn. He went to New York to buy goods for his store, was on Long Island Sound in a storm, caught cold, came home and lived sixty days. During Mary's first marriage she and her husband lived with her father Benjamin (3-4-6-7). She m (2) in 1834 Daniel Sprague of Pavillion, Genesee Co., N. Y., and went there to live. She d on the farm of her son, Albert G. Collins, four miles west of Batavia, N. Y., Feb. 23, 1888. Children by 1st husband. 3-4-6-9-1-1 Albert G. Collins b at Columbia, Conn. Mar. 30, 1828, m Harriet Bartholomew Feb. 22, 1851. She d Jan. 19, 1899, age 66 years. They lived together nearly 48 years. He now (1901) resides 214 Washington Ave., Batavia, N. Y. He lived with his grandfather Benjamin (3-4-6-7) until 1838, then went to live with his mother at Pavillion, N. Y. He writes "If think I am more Woodworth than Collins as I was brought up by my grandfather Benjamin (3-4-6-7) of Columbia, Conn., substantially until I was ten years old, so I am acquainted with all their foibleb, fancies and their rugged honesty of principle. I am now boarding in the beautiful village of Batavia, N. Y. where I have lived since 1869, all alone-no family or relatives except second cousins luring in Victor, N. Y." He also writes: "When I was a fellow living with my grandfather Benjamin (3-4-6-7) at Columbia, Conn. there used to be Woodworth relatives living in Nova Scotia, that used to visit in Columbia, and Lucy Woodworth Hills (3-4-6-7-7) at one time when a girl went to Nova Scotia and staid a long time with them." The Woodworths went to King's Co., Nova Scotia, from Lebanon, Conn. in 1760 and settled with others upon lands vacated by the deportation of the French Echidnas who were expelled some twelve years before. The grant dated July 25, 1761 of the township of Cornwallis contains the names of five Woodworths, Amass, Benjamin, Thomas, William and Silas.
