The following data is extracted from A Genealogy Of Richard Hood.

July 15, 1864: Co. 1, 6th Mass. Inf. He was discharged at expiration of service, Oct. 27, 1864. (This Regt. was the "Old Sixth which went through Baltimore, Apr. 19, 1861, the first of the 9 mos. militia Regts., which were sent forward in 1862, and the first to go forward in 1864.)


ERRATUM.

Instead of the first two lines on page 10, read:

FANNY MAY, b. Rochester, Minn., Mch. 17, 1869; d. Mch. 19, 1869.

WILLINE, b. Rochester, Minn., Mch. 17, 1869; d. July 17, 1869.
