(See Oolootsa and Riley)-Monroe Calvin Keys, born September 15, 1826. Married at Park Hill, May 31, 1855 Lucy Lowrey Hoyt, born September 16, 1831. She graduated from the Female Seminary in 1854. He was a member of Captain Benjamin Wisner Carter's Company in the confederate service. He died March 3, 1881 and she died Aug. 24, 1912. They were the parents of Mary Eunice, born May 31, 1856; Lydia Emma, born September 16, 1858; Fannie Myrtle, born November 5, 1862; Sarah Ann born October 6, 1865 ; Elizabeth Riley, born January 13, 1868; Monroe Amory, born February 21, 1870 and Lucy D. Keys, born March 31, 1872. Mary Eunice married December 28, 1875, Hamilton Balentine, son of Rev. Hamilton Balentine and Anna Hoyt Balentine, born April 18, 1850. He died February 22, 1900. She died April 25, 1920. They were the parents of Mary Eunice, born May 4, 1899 and Ellen Stella Balentine, born May 5, 1892. Mary Eunice Balentine was educated in Vinita and the Northeastern State Normal and is a teacher. Ellen Stella Balentine was educated in Vinita (Valentine's Business College Graduate) and is a stenographer. Both of the sisters live with their maternal Aunt: Sarah Ann, who married on October 26, 1887 John Samuel, son of John Bradley and Amanda (Blankenship) LeForce, born Jan. 27, 1864 in Indiana. Mrs. LeForce, was educated in Worcester Academy and Female Seminary. Mr. and Mrs. LeForce are Methodists. He is a prosperous farmer and stockman at Vinita.
