James Russell Simpson Son of Alvah. Edwards and Jennie M. (Davies) Simpson; b. March 22, 1911, at Passaic, N.. J. Graduate, U. P. I., Blacksburg, Va., 11 C. E4, 1934 commissioned 2d Lieut. in the Reserve Officers; also won a fellowship at the same time in the same school. On Jan, 8, 1935, he m. Brennus Miller Clower, at Christiansburg, Va. They were m. by a Methodist minister. Address: Blacksburg.
