            son, George Washington, b. Sept. 17, 1813; m., 1837, Jennett 
            Noble, b. in New Milford, Conn, 1816; d. in Grand Rapids, 
            Mich., 1859. He m., second, 1864, Mrs. Elizabeth Bradford 
            (Fales) Church. He d. in Grand Rapids, Mich., 1898. There 
            were George Roderick, b. 1844; Stanley Noble, b. 1847; Arthur 
            Kingsbury, b. 1849; Henry Gilbert, b. 1852, and two daus. by 
            first m.). 
         b. Gilbert: b. Nov. 29, 1800; m., 1823, Caroline Owen; b. in Granby, 
            Conn.; d. Sept., 1840. He d. 1856. Was county sheriff many 
            years. They had Gilbert, b. 1825, d. 1848, in Hartford; James 
            Olcott, b. 1826 (who m., 1848, Emma Gloriana Thompson, b. 
            in Penfield, N. Y., 1828; d. 1859. He m., second, 1862, Mrs. 
            Aurelia (Morgan) Adams. He d. in Springfield, Mass., 1897. 
            By the first m. there were 2 daus. Frederic Owen, b. 1833, unm., 
            d. 1891; Edward Luther, b. 1835; m., 1860, Jennie C. Wells, b. 
            1836, d. 1862. He m., second, in 1865, Marietta Holcomb. She 
            d. 1907. There was one son (George, b. 1862) by the first marriage 
            and two daus. 
         c. Clarendon: b. 1804, d. 1837, unm. 
         d. Olcott: b. 1806; m., 1828, Mary Spaulding; b. 1810. She d. 
            1834. He m., second, Apr. 27, 1837, Lucy Ann Parsons; b. in 
            Enfield, 1812. He d. in Hartford, 1872. There were three ch. 
            by the first m.: Edward Payson, b. 1832 (who m. in 1865, and 
            had one dau., Grace, b. 1866), and others. There were three 
            children by the second m.: Francis Olcott, b. 1840 (m. in Chicago, 
            1862; Isabella C. Jones, and had Harris Hall, Clarence 
            Jones, Bessie Cynthia. He m., second, 1870, Elizabeth H. Dulles
            and had Margaret Dulles, Francis Olcott, b. 1874, and Joseph 
            Heathy Dulles), William Eben, b. 1843, and Annie Parsons. b. 
            1848. 
         h. Roderick: b. 1810; m., 1835, Sophronia Rebecca Pease; b. 1816. 
            He d. 1840. They had Charles Hoover, b. 1837, d. 1839, and 
            Charles Roderick, b. 1840; m., 1869, Mrs. Mary (Grant) Allen. 
            He d. in Brooklyn 1898. Last named couple had Roderick Grant, 
            b. May 29, 1871, and Elsie.
