(36) JOHN’ (Thomas3, Thomas2, Thomas1), bapt. July 10, 1726; died about 1777; m. June 9, 1752, Mary Hendley, a descendant of Elias and Sarah Hendley, who was of Marblehead, 1660, d. March 17, 1812, at an advanced age.
Seven children —
50. MARY5 bapt. March 24, 1754; d. Oct. 10, 1836; m. July 7, 1777, Nicholas Greely, of Beverly. He was born in New Jersey, and died from sickness contracted in the naval service in the war of 1812, where he acted in the capacity of gunner. Removed from Marblehead to Beverly about 1791.

Nov. 20, 1785; living in Beverly; published to James Foster, Oct. 18, 1844. JANE6 bapt. Oct. 26, 1788; still living; m. Thomas Herrick, husband to her sister Mary.
51. JOHN5 bapt. Sept. 12, 1756; d. Oct. 15, 1833. 52. BENJAMIN5 b. April 29, 1759; d. young. 53. DELIVERANCE5 b. Sept. 28, 1760; d. June 1,1833, unm.
