FootNote
The new kid on the block, FootNote is known for digitizing historical
documents... many of which are genealogical gems. With naturalizations,
city directories, war records, newspapers, town records, etc... this new
kid is quickly being recognized as an alternative to Ancestry.
While we know our northern friends may not feel it, in the South, Spring is
here. So we thought we'd share a few of our gardening sites appropriate
for this time of the year. Along with gardening, there's grilling, and getting
ready to diet so that you can fit back into that bathing suit this summer!
The Discover Oklahoma Ring was set up to
bring together all those searching for information in
Oklahoma. Web rings as they grow
are a great way to link similar sites together. I believe that we can help
increase your exposure to those interested in Oklahoma
genealogy.
There are three steps to
joining the
Discover Oklahoma Genealogy WebRing.
You must have a ID.
If you don't have a ID, you can sign up for one
HERE.
Register with the Discover Oklahoma Genealogy WebRing!
You must have a current genealogy web page pertaining to your family
surnames and the state of Oklahoma in order to register. If you have a
genealogy web page pertaining to your family surnames and are ready to
add your page to the queue then,
Add the ring navigation bar to your web page!
After you join the Ring, you will be instructed how to install the ring
navigation bar (nav bar), like the one at the top of this page, onto
your
site
Please Read: The WebRing system is automated. Use the EXACT URL that the
code appears on - even in framed pages.....If you have a webring page use
that URL This is important, your wrong URL will break the ring and
people will not be able to view the other pages in the ring!!!
