George Wesley York, 59, of La Grande, died Oct. 3 at his home.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Loveland Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
George was born June 20, 1950, to Max Marshall and Bernice Frances (Smith) York in Portland. He enjoyed all types of art – photography, woodworking, painting, etc. He moved to the La Grande area from Hermiston in 1977.
He is survived by his sister Margaret and her husband, Kenneth Brown, of Hermiston; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
