Andy Thompson, an old and well known resident of this place, died at his home on the 18th of this month after a long illness, from dropsy and heart trouble at the age of seventy-three. The funeral took place on the 19th the services being conducted by Rev. Willis, and attended by a large number of the deceased’s friendsfrom all parts of the county.
Mr Thompson is survived by his wife who lives in this city, two daughters, Mrs. Chas Garrett, of Elgin and Mrs John Kinnick, of Grass Range, Mont, also three sons Sam, Owen, and Ed Thompson all of whom reside near hear.
