Mrs. Mina Adeline Standley, 86, La Grande died at a local rest home Wednesday following an extended illness.

Born May 11, 1885 in Summerville, she lived her lifetime in the area. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Union County Fair Board, and the La Grande Mavericks club. In former years, she was an active member of the Pleasant Grove Grange, and a member of the Summerville Cemetery Board.

Survivors of Mrs. Standley are a daughter Mrs. Hadley (Mildred) Beedle, Reno, Nev.; a son J. Dale Standley, La Grande; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Dempsey Chapel. The Rev. Clarence Kopp will officiate. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Dempsey’s Funeral Chapel.
