North Powder, Union County, Oregon
Mrs. Caroline Slyter aged 69 years, died at her home in North Powder, early Monday morning after an illness of several months. Deceased was the wife of Peter Slyter and with her husband had been residents of this city for about two years. Mrs. Slyter was the mother of Mrs. Charles Fisher of this place.
Other surviving relatives are a son and daughter living in Kansas City and several grandchildren here.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. G.R. Archer from the residence Wednesday afternoon and interment was in the city cemetery.
