Rose Marie Schaeffer
Rose Marie Schaeffer, 80, of Wallowa died Aug. 31 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise. Burial was at Bramlet Cemetery. Bollman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schaeffer was born Oct. 2, 1925, to Silas Oliver and Minnie Belle Weaver Barnes in Paradise. She married Don Schaeffer in 1946, and was a homemaker and a bookkeeper, and will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her love of animals.

Survivors include her husband of Wallowa; a son, Donnie Schaeffer of Wallowa; a daughter, LaVonne Lessar of Pendleton; a sister, Charlotte Doud of Wallowa; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and other relatives. Two brothers, Willard and Raymond Barnes; a sister, Kathleen Barnes; and two grandchildren, Terrel Prince and Tandy Ludviksen; died earlier.
