Iola A. Robinson, 69, 1955 Dallas Hwy. NW, died Friday in a local hospital.

Born in Cove, she was a graduate of Union High School in Union County and attended the University of Oregon. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Eastern Star, and was active as a church organist at First Baptist Church in Union. She and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June.

Survivors include her husband L. Irl; son, Don E. Salem; brother LeRoy Childers, Wallowa; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Coffeys mortuary, La Grande, and interment in Cove Cemetery, Cove. Local arrangements are under the direction of Barrick mortuary.

The family suggests contributions to First Baptist Church of Union Memorial Fund.
