Robinson, Craig Wallace – Obituary

Craig Wallace Robinson, 41, of Baker City, died Feb. 28, 2008, at his home.

His memorial service was Monday at the home of Allen and Vickie Stevenson.

Craig was born on Dec. 29, 1966, at Colfax, Wash., to James Lee Robinson and Vickie Lee Stevenson. He was raised at Bend, where he attended school graduating from Bend Senior High School. He spent summers and vacations at Milton- Freewater.

He lived at Salem for a short time and moved to Baker City in 1993. During his life he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was happiest when he was camping, fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. He loved watching all of his nieces and nephews grow up.

He attended all of their various school and sports activities. Craig was always there when his family needed him. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered, family members said.

Craig loved helping people and would always be there to help when the Baker City Lions needed help.
Survivors include his mother, Vickie Stevenson, and his dad, Allen D. Stevenson, of Baker City; stepmother, Jennifer Robinson of Milton-Freewater; grandparents, Dean and Phyllis Stevenson of Bend; sisters, Kim Nelson, and her husband, Pete, of Baker City, Kerri Carpenter and her husband, Chanc, of Baker City, and Kristi Morris of Walla Walla, Wash.; brother, Eric Robinson of Milton-Freewater; five nieces and nine nephews who he loved dearly; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his father, grandmother, grandfather, nephew and uncle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baker City Lions Club through Gray’s West & Co., 1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814.
