James Alex “Jim” Poston, 84, a longtime Baker City resident, died Sept. 22, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Health Services from a prolonged illness.
Inurnment will take place next spring at Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway.
Survivors include his three children, Janie Ledridge, Joyce Wilkerson and Jim Poston; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, who died on Sept. 29, 2006.
Coles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
