Moeller, Lavinia (Ina) Atkinson Mrs. – Obituary

Lavinia (Ina) Moeller, 90, of Baker City, died July 17, 2009 at Regency Nursing Home in Hermiston, Ore.

There will be a celebration of her life at 10 a.m., Wednesday July 22 at Gray’s West & Co., Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave. Pastor Dave DePuty of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Moeller was born in Northern Ireland on Nov. 3, 1918 to Richard and Mary Atkinson. During World War II, while working for the British Armed Forces, she met and married Charlie Moeller in London, England in 1945. After World War II ended, they built their home in Baker City, raised their family and enjoyed 52 years of marriage.

Ina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved working in her yard and flowers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Friends are invited to join family for a reception after service at Gray’s West & Co.

She is survived by her daughter Colleen Fullerton of Baker City, son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Donna Moeller of Hermiston; grandchildren Rhonda Fullerton of Boise, Mark Moeller and wife Annette and great granddaughters Ella and Sophie of Wallowa, Lori Sarich and husband Nick and great grandsons Luke and Kolt of Nampa, Idaho, and several nieces and nephews here and in Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, her parents, three sisters and two brothers, and her son-in-law Ron Fullerton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
