Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon
Ethel May Evans, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. Evans of Flora, was born May 16, 1907, and passed away July 3, 1937, at the Enterprise hospital at the age of 30 years, 1 month and 17 days.
She was united in marriage to Lee E. Martin October 7, 1924, at Enterprise. To this union were born four children; Eldin Lee, Vonita Irene, Vandon Carrol and Twilla Maxine, Eldin Lee Martin passed away December 15, 1926 at Flora.
Mrs. Martin leaves to mourn her death her husband, Lee E. Martin, and children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. Evans, four sisters, Mrs. Art Boss of Wallowa, Mrs. Delpha Gallagher, Mrs. Lovina Poole and Verda Evans and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 5, 1937, at Flora, with Rev. G.E. Williams of Enterprise officiating, and burial was in the Flora cemetery.
