James M. Litchfield of Wallowa died May 1, 2006, at the Wallowa Valley Care Center of natural causes. He was 81.
Mr. Litchfield was born April 28, 1925 to James Ira and Mina Womack. He was a member of the military in World War II and the Korean War. He married Virginia Joanne Litchfield. She died in November 1984. He worked as a lumber grader.
Survivors include daughter Judy Horton of Wallowa; son Marvin Litchfield; sister Esther Carper; grandsons Craig Horton, Lee Horton and Dustin Litchfield; granddaughter Lindsey Litchfield; great grandsons Andrew Horton and Derrick Horton and great granddaughters Natalie Litchfield and Lena Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by son Steve Litchfield, grandson Aaron Horton and granddaughter Ashley Horton.
Services have been held.
