Kim William “Bill” Lethlean II, 24, of Baker City died June 21, 2006, at his home.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2625 Hughes Lane. Bishop Ernie Collard will officiate. Interment be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitations will be until 5 p.m. Friday at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St.

Bill was born on Aug. 1, 1981,at Baker City to Kim William and Gladys Baisley Lethlean. He attended Baker schools where he had some very special teachers who helped him with his handicap.

Bill loved his family, especially his grandparents. He was very helpful to everyone and people loved him for the type of person he was. He had many special friends.

He volunteered for The Salvation Army on Tuesdays. During the holiday season, Bill was a bell ringer for The Salvation Army.

He received operations from the Shriners Hospital for Children and he and his family were very grateful for the help they received. In gratitude, Bill would run the chains during the East-West Shrine Game every summer. He enjoyed participating in that way.

Survivors include his parents, Kim and Gladys Lethlean, his brother, Dustin Lethlean, and his grandparents, Dale and Darlene Lethlean and Vern and Sue Baisley, all of Baker City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vera Lethlean, who died in 2002; and his uncle, Jim Lethlean, who died in 2000.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Rocky Hunt Wheelchair Fund or the Shriners Hospital for Children through Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St., Baker City, OR 97814.
