Bay City Woman Dies

Mrs. Lydia Hearing, 78, died Thursday at her home in Bay City Ore. Mrs. Hearing was born in Coos County, June 13, 1875, and had lived in Bay City since 1947. For a time she lived in the Haines neighborhood.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leona Bell, of Redmond, Cal., a son, L. Z. Hearing, of Bay City, a brother, Noah Chandler, of Medford, four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the West and company chapel. Interment will be in the Haines cemetery.
