Dunn, Naomi June Frost Mrs. – Obituary

Naomi June Dunn, 68, a former Baker City resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2007, in Warrenton.

Her funeral was today at the Warrenton First Baptist Church. Interment was at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.

Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dunn was born on June 8, 1939, in La Grande, to Ronald E. and Barbara I. Simonis Frost. She was raised in Baker City.

On Nov. 21, 1958, she married Lonnie Dunn in Baker City. In 1967, the family moved to Clatsop County.

She was a sales clerk at Sears, Roebuck and Co. for 20 years, and worked at Fred Meyer in Warrenton for eight years.

She was a member of the North Coast Cruisers Car Club and the Astoria Little League and Babe Ruth associations. She was also a Head Start volunteer.

Family members said she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing Yahtzee and croquet with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Kim Dunn of Days Creek, Rick and Jewell Dunn of Olympia, Wash., and Randy and Orchid Dunn of Warrenton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Paul Faist of Aloha; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Don Kennedy of Pendleton; eight grandchildren, Jason Dunn of Phoenix, Jared and Kasey Dunn of Days Creek, Jamie Dunn of Salt Lake City, Allison Douglas of Salem, Andy Douglas of Aloha, Sky Villiard of Warrenton and Lynsey McFadden of Hammond; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hammond Library, Oregon Humane Society, Astoria Babe Ruth Association or the charity of one’s choice through Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary, 1165 Franklin Ave., Astoria, OR 97103.
