Lostine, Oregon
Thomas Richard Cook was born Feb. 16, 1861, in Dallas, Polk County, Oregon, and died at his home in Lostine, October 9, 1924, being at the time of his death 63 years, 8 months and 7 days old. He was married to Miss Nancy J. Hammack Nov. 24, 1889 Hr leaves to mourn his loss his widow and two sons, James Alvin, and Albert (Bertie) Lawrence, residing at home; three brothers, Wm. W., G.B. and N.J. Cook, all of Lostine; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a member of the Christian Church and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of which he was a faithful member until death.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Christian Church at Lostine, conducted by Rev. Petelle and the remains were laid to rest in the Lostine Cemetery.
