Marlene Irwin Blank passed away on May 25, 2007. Marlene was the daughter of Ira “Mike” and Zelma Irwin. She was born April 4, 1934 in Halfway, Ore.
Marlene married Alton “Bud” Blank of Richland, on June 7, 1952. They moved to Portland, where they raised four daughters, Kathy, Penny, Dianna and Debra. Alton died in 2003. Marlene had three sisters, Sherril Smit, Irene Ralls, and Bonnie Lindstrom.
Marlene was a kind person and is greatly missed by her family and friends, including her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Marlene loved all of nature, especially flowers, trees, birds, dogs and cats.
A celebration of her life was held in Halfway on June 23, 2007, at the Pine Haven Cemetery.
