G., 1895; capt. 1st Ohio Vol. Cavalry, war with Spain, 1898; aid-de-camp to Gen. Horace Porter, 1897; to Gen. G. M. Dodge, 1897; to Gen. J. F. Bell, 1909; pres. and treas. the Bowler & Burdick Co., jewelers; established, 1873.
