S. in 1896; in business in Detroit, Mich., a few months, then came to Cleveland; established myself in the oriental rug and carpet business; was the pioneer merchant in the business in Cleveland; summer home at Meyers Lake, near Canton, O.; member Episcopalian denomination. Recreation: Boating and fishing.
