Services Held For Casey Jones
Leonard Charles (Casey) Jones, a resident at Wallowa County Nursing Home for some time, passed away at Wallowa memorial Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 20, 1970. He had been in failing health for the past four years.
He was born in North Dakota on April 19, 1895, and had lived in Wallowa County for many years. He was a retired sheepherder. Among his survivors is a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Mrs. Eva Johnson, both of Portland.
Graveside services, arranged by the Bollman Funeral Home, were held yesterday (Wednesday) at 2 p.m., with Rev. James E. Jones officiating.
