Sent to Camp Jackson, S. C. Transferred to Camp Sevier, S. C., then to Camp Upton. Sailed for France Aug., 1918. Promoted to Sergt. Nov. 27, 1918. Fought at Meuse-Argonne, Verdun, St. Die Sector and La Forain Sector. Returned to USA July 18, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., July 19, 1919.
