Private, Inf., Co. F, 81st Div., 321st Regt.; of Duplin County; son of W. F. and Mrs. Josephine Price. Entered service May 26, 1918, at Warsaw, N.C. Sent to Camp Jackson, S. C. Transferred to Camp Sevier, to Camp Upton. Sailed for Liverpool, Eng., Aug. 11, 1918. Fought at St. Die Sector, Verdun, Meuse-Argonne offensive. Decorations, Victory Ribbon and one star. Returned to USA June 20, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., June 28, 1919.
