Fought at St. Die, Vosges Mountains, Somme, Dieu Sector, Verdun, Meuse-Argonne offensive. Winner of Pistol Competition, 321st nfantry. Platoon leader of Platoon winning 5th place in A. E. F. rifle competition at Le Mons, France. Volunteered for service at Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Mustered out at Camp Lee, July 15, 1919.
