Sailed for France Aug. 18, 1918. Promoted to rank of 1st Lt.-Chaplain Aug. 10, 1918. A native of Mississippi. Came to N.C. in 1911, to Warsaw, N.C. For 12 months prior to commission was Baptist Camp Pastor at Ft. Caswell, N.C. On Baptist Home Mission Board, Atlanta, Ga. Mustered out at Camp Greene, N.C., Feb. 14, 1919.
