Sent to Camp Sevier, S. C. Transferred to Camp Mills. Sailed for France May 19, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. then Sergt., 2nd Lt. Oct., 1917, 1st Lt. March 2, 1918. Firing Instructor F. Artly. School at Camp De Souge, France Aug. 14, 1918, to Dec. 10, 1918. Returned to USA March 19, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 15, 1919.
