Johnston, then to Camp Merritt, N. J. Sailed for Brest June 19, 1918. Promoted to rank as Corpl. April 12, 1918; to Sergt. March 22, 1919. Returned to USA Aug. 8, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Upton Aug. 12, 1919.
