Henry Lewis Myrover

2nd Lt., Co. F, Inf., 30th Div., 119th Regt. Born in Cumberland County; the son of Mr. and Mrs. George G. Myrover. Entered the service June 26, 1916, at Fayetteville, N.C. Was sent to Camp Glenn, N.C. Transferred to Camp Royster, N.C. from there he was sent to Camp Sevier, S. C. Sailed for France May 11, 1918. Fought at Ypres and Hindenburg Line. Wounded on the Hindenburg Line Sept. 30, 1918. shrapnel wound. Sent to Hospital in France, Base Hospital No. 29. Landed in USA July, 1919. Served with M. P. Company from January, 1919, to July, 1919. Promoted to Sergt. Maj. April 3, 1917; 2nd Lt. Dec. 18, 1917. Mustered out at New York City July 21, 1919.
