Sailed for France Aug. 25, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. Sept. 7, 1918. Was sick with influenza and pneumonia fever for three months; sent to American Hospital at Valdehore, France. Sailed from Brest May 26, 1919. Arrived in USA June 8, Newport News, Va. Mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., June 20, 1919.
