Entered the service at Robersonville, N.C., July 25, 1917. Sent to Camp Sevier, S. C., and transferred to Camp Mills, N. Y. Sailed for France, June 12, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. April, 1918. Mustered out of the service at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 14, 1919.
