Died in this village on Thursday 20th Amelia Van De Cook, wife of Mr. Abraham Brewster of this place. By this event an affectionate husband and father is bereaved of one of (heaven’s best gifts to man) and four children, at a young and tender age, are left in a state of orphanage. We have not understood that Mrs. Brewster was connected with any religious denomination, but we are informed that previous to her casting off this “mortal coil” she had the consoling hope and firm belief in a glorious resurrection.
