(VII) Urial, son of Willis Aldrich, was born at Farmington, 1810, died November 24, 1883. He was educated in the district schools. He owned a farm of ninety-two acres. In politics the was a Republican, and in religion was of the Society of Friends. He married Esther Power in 1831, and she died in 1897. Children : Arthur, died aged six months; Esther, born March, 1832, married Norman P. Bartles, who died in March, 1901 ; Lydia, born January, 1834, married Amos Gardiner and had two sons, Cassius and Roy Gardiner; Byron, born November 10, 1837, died in 1889 at Farmington; Cassius R., mentioned elsewhere; Gralette, born March, 1842, married (first) Fanny Bowers and (second) Mary Whipple; children: Esther, Leslie and one that died in infancy.
