Silas Bachelor

SILAS and DORCAS P. ( ) BACHELOR were m. and lived in Northbridge, Mass. Came near the close of the 18th century and settled in that part of Grantham afterwards annexed to Cornish. But little can be gleaned regarding them. They are both buried in the Flat cemetery. He d. Jan. 19, 1838. She d. Aug. 26, 1950. Children, the first two or three were b. in Northbridge and the rest in town:

i. LUTHER, b. Aug. 15, 1794, and d. April 16, 1800.
ii. ABIGAIL, b. March 27, 1796; d. Sept. 29, 1796.
iii. SARAH, b. Aug. 21, 1797.
iv. SILAS, b. April 20, 1799; m. –larch 9, 1828, Martha Thrasher.
v. DORCAS, b. Feb. 2, 1801: d. Feb. 16, 1808.
vi. OLIVE. b. March 13, 1803; m. Dec. 1, 1521, Weston Wright of Grantham.
2. vii. AZOR, b. Jan. 13, 1806.
viii. LEVI, b. Jan. 3, 1808.
ix. DIANA, b. Nov. 10, 1810.
x. JAMES PRENTICE, b. May 10, 1813; m. ; d. June 10, 1844.
