5. LEONARD7 COMINGS (Samuel,6-5, John4-3-2, Isaac1) b. Dec. 6, 1769, eldest son of Samuel, and Sarah Butterfield; m. Sept. 20, 1791, Nellv Winch, b. Dec. 15, 1768, and d. Dec. 30, 1860, aged 92. He continued in the same business as his father and grandfather, in the mill and on the farm, leading a quiet and useful life. He d. Oct. 25, 1832, aged 63. Children, both b. in Cornish.
9. i. URIEL, b. Feb. 28, 1793.
ii. CYNTHIA, b. March 18, 1795; m. Feb. 10, 1814, Obed Powers, formerly of Croydon. Had five children. (See Powers.) She lived over twenty years after the celebration of their golden wedding in 1864. She d. Sept. 6, 1884.
