Jonathan Bingham

The Binghams of Cornish were of English descent.
THOMAS1 and MARY BINGHAM res. in Sheffield, Eng.
THOMAS2 and MARY (Rudd) BINGHAM came to America about 1659 and res. in Norwich, Conn. Had eleven children.
DEA. ABEL3 and Mary (Odell) BINGHAM, res. and d. in Windham, Conn. Nine children. He d. ‘March 25, 1745.
JONATHAN4 BINGHAM, adopted by Jonathan’: m. first, Mary Abbie; m. second, Sarah Upton. Res., Windham. Conn. By first wife he had:
JONATHAN5 BINGHAM,, b. Feb. 20. 1735: m. first. , Elizabeth Warner, b. d. : m. second, – . Abigail Warner, a sister of his former wife (?). b. , 1738. d. June 18, 1812, in Cornish. aged 74. They came to Cornish from “Mansfield, Conn., about 1778 (?). He d. in Cornish March 9. 1812. Children of Jonathan’ and Elizabeth Warner:

i. ELISHA WARNER, b. March 23, 1765, in Mansfield, Conn.; m. and came to Cornish and there had a son, Warner Bingham, b. in Cornish in 1759, who rem. to Concord, Vt., where he m. Lucy Wheeler. He d. in Bethlehem Feb. 12. 1872. These were the parents of judge Harry Bingham, LL.D., lawyer, legislator, author, who was b. in Concord, Vt., March 30, 1821, and d. in Littleton, Sept. 12, 1900.
ii. ERASTUS, b. April 17, 1767, in Mansfield, Conn. Children by Abigail Warner:
iii. FREDERIC, b. , in Cornish; m. July 15, 1795, Rachel Brooks.
iv. AMY, b. -, 1775, in Cornish; d. April 5, 1801, aged 23.
