1. ANDREW BAILEY lived in town several years before and after the opening of the 19th century. He m. Feb. 7, 1799, Rebecca French of Cornish, dau. of Ephraim and Comfort (York) French, b. June 17, 1776. No dates of their death have been found. Their children were:
i. ISAAC MITCHELL, b. July 29, 1801; d. Sept. 28, 1802.
2. ii. ANDREW, JR., b. April 12, 1805.
iii. ELIZABETH M., b. Dec. 18, 1806; m. in 1842. Clark Kendrick of Cornish who d. in Cornish May. 12. 1849. After his death, the wid. m. second, April 3, 18.50. John Bartlett of Cornish. who d. March 4. I869. She d. March 23. 1881. She left one child by Mr. Kendrick. (See Kendrick.)
iv. ARA, b. -; m. -, Phebe Amanda Coburn of Cornish, dau. of Phinehas and Hannah (French) Coburn, b. July 28, 1804. They had three children: 1. Almon. 2. Andrew. whom. Sarah McCallister and had three children: (1) Sarah Emma, b. May 1.5, 1856: m. Feb. 29. 1876, Geo. P. Davis. (2) Hattie E., b. May 28. 1859; m. July 10, 1873, Louis E. Weld. (3) Charles. 3. Julia, who m. Mr. Peach and d. in Cornish Nov. 3, 1871. After Mr. Bailey’s death, his wid.. Phebe Amanda, twice m. (See Coburn for her further record.)
