While we know our northern friends may not feel it, in the South, Spring is
here. So we thought we'd share a few of our gardening sites appropriate
for this time of the year. Along with gardening, there's grilling, and getting
ready to diet so that you can fit back into that bathing suit this summer!
Bear River. A tribe mentioned by Lawson (N.C. 383, 1860)
as living in North Carolina in 1701, and having then a single village,
Raudauquaquank, with 50 warriors. According to Hawks (Hist. N.C.,
1858-59) they lived in Craven County, probably on a branch of the Neuse.
