Ancestors Name: TWO-WINDS, TWOWINDS, TWO WINDS, Jimmy, James
Nee:
Date of Birth: Unknown
State: Pennsylvania
Comment: My Grandfathers name is Jimmy Twowinds. He was the medicine man for the Seneca Wolf clan. He met my grandmother, Geraldine Elizabeth Scott and had my mother, who was put up for adoption under that same name. She was adopted as Mary Margaret Dill and met Jimmy Twowinds over forty years ago. There were stories that he fathered alot of children, and I'm looking for anyone else who is the child or grandchild of him, or if anyone knew him.

Ancestors Name: GRIFFIN, Mary
Nee: Unknown
Date of Birth: Unknown
State: New York
Comment: My father passed away in Alabama, 2009, his name was Gerald Gene Hall, and later took on the last name Weaks upon being adopted by our Step-Grandfather. Gerald's Mother was Nadine Elizabeth Griffin. Griffin was her maiden name. Her father was William (P.?) Griffin from St. Louis, Mossuri, and he married my Great-Grandmother whose name was Lona Howell. I believe the Grandmother to be mine POSSIBLY was Mary Griffin born 1849 Tonawanda, New York forced off the reservation in 1857 and they settled in Kansas. My Great Grandparents lived in Barton, Housington, Kansas where my Grandmother Nadine E. Griffin was born. She had sisters by the name of Mary who served in the military, I believe WW2, and Joyce who passed away in April 2009, I believe. If anyone can help us; we would be ever so greatful; IT HAS BEEN 50 YEARS OF WONDERING about my family. I know after the removal west of the Mississippi River many were sent to differnt reservations: Cherokee, Soiux, Choctaw,Pottawattamie, Creek,Seneca, Osage, Onodaga, Iroquis. We do want our children to have this heritage. It is their right. I understand this to be the removal treaty at Buffalo Creek 1857. Thank-you, Respectfully, Deanna C. (Hall) Schultz.
