I have family information that he was married to a Terez BROWN, but we don't know anything else about her. My father is a member of the Ottawa tribe but we cannot seem to find anything further back on our family.

Comment: I am not sure of the Indian name spelling of the first name - that is my maternal grandfather. My mother left us when we were small, and I barely remember details about him and grandma. I would like my niece and nephews know of their heritage. I am uncertain how to begin. I also know that grandpa's sister was the LAST Indian princess of the Ottawa Tribe- and she had never married in order to keep that title since grandpa had been a disappointment in marrying my grandmother. I believe he may have died before 1975, but again I am not certain. Even if you can find the accurate spelling. It would then help me to find my half brother who was named after him but with another father - DuPree.
