Ancestors Name: MOBY, Susan
Nee: I don't know her maiden name
Date of Birth: early 1800's
State: Michigan
Comment: Would anyone know Susan MOBY'S maiden name? She was living in Canada in the early to mid 1800's with her 1st husband and daughter Polly. I don't know her 1st husband's name. Her daughter Polly married Andrew SANDS and they raised their family in Canada. I do believe her 1st husband died and she met my great great grandfather Joseph MOBY and started another family. I got to meet 4 of the SANDS sisters from Walpole Island, Canada at our annual MOBY Reunion the third of which is coming up in September of 2008.

Comment: My great great grandfather Joseph MOBY Sr. lived in Freesoil, Michigan in the early 1900's with some of his family. His 2 sons Joseph MOBY Jr. went to Phelps, Wisconsin and made his home there with his wife Mary LAHAYE (LAHAY) (LAKE) MOBY and their children. I had a chance to meet the 4 children that were still living and what a great experience it was to meet more Moby family. My great grandfather James MOBY was the oldest brother and he brought his family to Benzie county, Michigan to live. I would love to hear from anyone related to our family even if it is just to find out some information. Cathy

Comment: Domithilde OUKABE/NEPVEOUIKABE/LAFOURCHE daughter of KeWaNoQuat....an Ottawa.
She was the second wife of Daniel Joseph AMOIT-VILLENEUVE who I have being born Oct. 4, 1665 in Quebec.
I would like to know more about this particular group of Ottowa, who her father was within this tribe, etc. Very facinating, but my information comes from "others" so don't know where to look further and I don't read French.
