Ancestors Name: SHOPE, Julia Anna
Nee: YOUNG
Date of Birth: 29 March 1853
State: Pennsylvania
Comment: Julia Anna YOUNG-SHOPE was adamant that she was part Native American through her mother's side of the family. We only have her mother's name as Anna YOUNG. No maiden name, no middle name, etc. Supposedly her father was William YOUNG. There is a story passed down through the family that Julia Anna and her siblings were taken to visit a Princess Bald Eagle at her home and that in some way she was a relative. This occured in Centre County, Pennsylvania. This is my husband's family. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated as we are stuck at this point and in dire need of info to continue our research. Thanks in advance for any help.
