For the Native American researcher, mailing lists can be a very useful source.  There are many knowledgeable people subscribed to the lists and are willing to provide you with suggestions on where and how to research.  The interaction between researchers can provide all of us with a new approach to different ways and places to search.  By expressing these ideas on the lists will benefit all of us.
