A list of Kansas Indian reservations showing the Indian tribes the land was set aside for, the amount of acres if known, and the acts, treaties, and executive orders used to establish the reservation.

Reservation: Chippewa and Munsee
Tribes: Chippewa and Munsee
Established by: Treaty of July 16, 1859 (XII, 1105). 4,195.31 acres were allotted to 100 Indians; the residue, 200 acres, allotted for missionary and school purposes. Patents issued to allottees; balance of allotments sold and proceeds paid to heirs. (See ninth section.) (Act of June 7, 1897, XXX, 93).

Reservation: Iowa
Tribes: Iowa
Established by: Treaties of May 17, 1854 (I x, 1069), and Mar. 6, 1861 (XII, 1171). 11, 768.77 acres were allotted to 143 Indians, and 162 acres reserved for school and cemetery purposes.

Reservation: Kickapoo
Tribes: Kickapoo
Acres: 398
Established by: Treaty of June 28, 1862 ( XXIII. 623). 18,619 acres allotted to 233 Indians, 120 acres reserved for church and school: the residue, 398.87 acres, unallotted. (Acts of Feb. 28, 1899, XXX, 909, and Mar. 3, 1903, XXXII, 1007.)

Reservation: Potawatomi
Tribes: Prairie band of Potawatomi
Acres: 500
Established by:  Treaties of June 5, 1816 (IX, 853), and Nov. 15, 1861 (XII, 1191); treaty of relinquishment, Feb. 27, 1867 (XV, 531). 76,536.95 acres allotted to 811 Indians; 319 acres reserved for school and agency, and 1 acre for church; the residue, 500.62 acres, unallotted. (Acts of Feb. 8, 1899, XXX, 909), and Mar. 3, 1903, XXII, 1007.

Reservation: Sauk and Fox
Tribes: Sauk and Fox of the Missouri
Acres: 24
Established by: Treaties of May 18, 1851 (X, 1074), and Mar. 5, 1861 (XII, 1171): acts of June 10, 1872 ( XVII, 391), and Aug. 15, 1876 (XIX, 208). 2,843.97 acres in Kansas and 4,194.33 acres in Nebraska were allotted to 84 Indians, and under act of June 21, 1906 (XXXIV, 321-349), 960.91 acres were allotted to37 Indians, leaving 24.03 acres unallotted.
